The ‘Maple Leaf’ is Amtrak’s train connecting Aldershot, ON with Niagara Falls, ON. The train actually runs all the way from Toronto to New York City via Aldershot, Niagara Falls, Buffalo & Albany.
Equipment consists of Amfleet coaches & snack cars. Motive power consists of General Electric 4,250 horsepower P42DC diesel locomotives.
Departing Aldershot station, the train passes the beautiful Cootes Paradise, Hamilton harbour, and the Niagara wine country on its way to Niagara Falls, ON – home of many world famous attractions including the spectacular & awe-inspiring Niagara Falls, casinos, water parks, fine dining & hotels. Taxi connections to the various attractions are available from the station in Niagara Falls.
